Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 08/06/2025
Demora AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Framable, our AI-driven graphic design platform. By using Framable, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
We collect several types of information from and about users of Framable:
- Account Information: When you register or use Framable, we collect personal information such as your name and email address. This information is necessary to create and maintain your account and to communicate with you.
- User-Uploaded Content: Framable allows you to create or upload your own graphic designs, images, text, or other content. Any content you submit to the platform (including designs, images, and associated metadata) is stored on our systems so that you can edit, share, or publish it. Please be mindful that if your uploaded designs contain personal information (for example, images of people or text with personal data), that information becomes part of the content you provide to us.
- Payment Information: If you make purchases (such as subscribing to premium features), payment details (e.g. credit card number, billing address) are collected and processed solely by our third-party payment processor (e.g. Stripe), not by Framable. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. (For instance, Stripe will process your payment on our behalf and only provide us with limited information like a payment confirmation or token.) We will record basic transaction details (e.g. that a payment occurred, the amount, and your account ID) for billing and account records.
- Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you access and use Framable. This includes technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and device identifiers) and usage information (such as the pages or features you use, the dates/times of access, and error logs). We also collect information through cookies and similar tracking technologies as described below.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Framable uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to provide and improve our services. For example, we use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and gather analytics information. We partner with third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) that use cookies or similar tools to collect usage data about our platform. This data may include your IP address and browsing behavior on Framable. We use this information to analyze product performance and user engagement. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, note that some parts of the service may not function properly if cookies are disabled. (For more details on cookies, you may refer to our Cookie Policy, if available.)
We use the information we collect for various purposes in operating our platform, including:
- Providing and Maintaining the Service: We use your information to create and manage your account, authenticate you when you log in, and deliver the features of Framable. For example, we use your name and email to identify you as a user, and your content data to display or edit your saved designs as you request.
- Processing Transactions: If you make purchases, we use your personal information to facilitate the transaction (e.g. passing your payment details to Stripe for processing) and to manage billing (e.g. sending invoices or receipts). Your financial data is handled by third-party payment processors in a secure manner.
- Communication: We may use your email address to send you service-related communications, such as account verification, receipts, technical notices, security alerts, updates, and support messages. With your consent, we may also send you promotional emails about new features, offers, or updates from Framable. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by following the link in the email or updating your account preferences..
- Improvement and Development: We analyze usage data and user feedback to understand how our users interact with Framable. This helps us troubleshoot issues, develop new features, and improve the platform's performance and user experience. For instance, we might review aggregate usage patterns or use Google Analytics data to see which features are most popular or where users encounter errors, so we can enhance those areas.
- AI Functionality: Framable is an AI-driven design platform. This means some of your content or interactions (such as design prompts or images you submit) may be processed by our AI algorithms to generate design suggestions or other outputs. We use your data in this context solely to provide you the AI-driven features and improve the quality of our AI models. Any use of your content to improve our AI is done in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, and typically in an aggregated or anonymized manner when possible.
- Content Moderation and Safety: We may monitor or review user-generated content to ensure it complies with our community guidelines and to keep Framable safe and family-friendly. For example, if content is reported by a user or flagged by our automated systems (for containing explicit imagery or other prohibited material), we may review that content and take appropriate action (such as removal or contacting the user). We use these measures to prevent misuse of the platform, to protect the rights and safety of our users, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
- Legal Compliance and Enforcement: We may use or disclose your information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests. This includes using data to respond to lawful requests by public authorities (e.g. court orders, subpoenas) or to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We also use information to investigate and address violations of our Terms of Service or other policies, and to protect our rights and the rights of our users or others (for example, detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, or security incidents).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we do share certain information with third parties in the following circumstances, as necessary to run our business or as required by law:
- Service Providers: We share information with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to use personal information only as needed to provide their services to us. Key service providers we use include:
- Payment Processors: As noted, if you make purchases, your payment information is handled by third-party payment processors like Stripe. Stripe will receive your transaction information as needed to process your payment (e.g. name, billing address, and payment card details). Framable itself does not store your sensitive payment details – these are collected and processed by Stripe in compliance with their own security standards.
- Hosting and Infrastructure: Framable is hosted on cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). That means personal data (including your account info and user content) is stored on AWS servers. AWS acts as our data processor, storing data securely on our behalf. We rely on AWS's robust physical and network security measures to help protect your data.
- Analytics: We use third-party analytics tools like Google Analytics to understand how users use our platform. These tools may automatically receive certain usage data about your device and browsing actions (as described in Usage Data above), and they may set their own cookies or similar technologies in your browser. We ensure any analytics provider we use only processes data for our analytics purposes and not for their own marketing. (Google Analytics may also use the data as described in Google's Privacy Policy; you can opt out of Google Analytics by using Google's opt-out browser add-on if you wish.)
- Email/Communication Tools: If we use any third-party platform to send emails or support messages (for example, an email newsletter service or a customer support ticketing system), we will share your necessary contact information with that provider solely to contact you per your requests or preferences.
- Public Sharing and User Disclosure: Any information or content that you voluntarily make public on Framable (such as by sharing a design publicly or posting content for others to view) will be visible to others. If you choose to share or publish your designs, or if you create a public profile on Framable, the content you post (along with certain profile information like your display name) can be seen and used by anyone on the internet. We cannot control who will view, collect, or reuse information you decide to make public. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you disclose publicly through our platform or via third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, use, or misuse of any content that you share publicly or receive from others through Framable. For your own privacy and safety, please think carefully before posting personal information in content you share publicly on our platform.
- Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights: We may disclose your information if we in good faith believe such disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation or respond to lawful requests (for example, to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory requests); (ii) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; (iii) protect the rights, property, or safety of Demora AI (the company behind Framable), our users, or the public. This could include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- Business Transfers: If Demora AI or Framable is involved in a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity as part of that transaction. We will ensure any such entity is bound by terms that are consistent with this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information. We will notify you (for example, via email or a prominent notice on our site) of any change in ownership or use of your personal data in such an event, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal data.
- Aggregated or De-Identified Data: We may also share information that has been aggregated or anonymized in such a way that it cannot reasonably be used to identify you. For example, we might publish trends or insights about how many designs are created on average, or overall usage statistics of Framable. This information will not contain personal data and may be shared with partners, the public, or in marketing materials.
4. User-Generated Content and Content Moderation
Framable is a creative platform that empowers users to generate and share content. We strive to foster a positive, family-friendly environment, but due to the generative nature of AI and user contributions, we cannot guarantee that all user-generated or AI-generated content will always be appropriate or meet all audience expectations. By using Framable, you understand that you may encounter content generated by AI or other users that could be inappropriate or offensive to you, despite our efforts to prevent it.
Content Moderation: We use a combination of automated filters and human moderation to reduce harmful or inappropriate material. For example, our AI may have filters to block overtly explicit or violent imagery, and we may allow users to report content that they find objectionable. If content that violates our guidelines is detected or reported, we reserve the right to remove or restrict access to that content and take action on the user account if necessary. However, we do not pre-screen all content, and some inappropriate material might appear before it is reviewed or removed. You are responsible for the content you create and share on Framable, and we advise you to follow our community guidelines to keep Framable safe and enjoyable for everyone.
AI Outputs: Framable’s AI design features are designed with safe and creative outputs in mind. Nonetheless, AI can sometimes produce unexpected or unintended results. While we aim for the AI to produce family-friendly and relevant designs, we make no guarantees that every AI-generated output will be suitable or free of error. Demora AI is continually improving the AI models and employs content filters, but inappropriate or biased results may occasionally occur. If you encounter an AI-generated result that you believe is offensive or unsafe, please report it to us so we can improve our systems.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We are committed to honoring applicable data rights and providing you with control over your data.
Account Settings: Whenever possible, we provide you with the ability to access, correct, or delete your own information directly through the Framable platform. For instance, you can update your profile information by logging into your account settings. If you wish to delete certain content you have created, you can remove that content from your account. If you delete designs or other content, they will no longer be accessible to you or others through the platform (though residual copies may persist on our backup systems for a short period).
Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your Framable account entirely, you may do so by contacting us to request deletion. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymize personal information associated with your account, except for information we are required or permitted to retain by law or for legitimate business purposes (see Data Retention below for more details).
Opt-Out of Communications: If you have subscribed to any optional communications (such as a newsletter or promotional emails), you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in those emails or adjusting your account preferences. Please note that you will still receive transactional or service messages from us (such as important account or payment notices) even if you opt out of marketing communications.
Cookies: As mentioned, you can control cookies through your browser settings. You may also use tools or browser extensions to opt out of analytics tracking (like the Google Analytics opt-out). However, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of Framable (for example, you might need to log in every time or some features might not remember your preferences).
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information. Demora AI employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. For example, our website uses HTTPS encryption (TLS) to secure data in transit between your browser and our servers. Our servers (hosted on AWS) are protected by firewalls and other security controls, and we restrict access to personal data to employees and contractors who need it to operate the service (and who are bound by confidentiality obligations).
Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You should also play a role in protecting your information by keeping your account credentials confidential and using a strong, unique password. If you have any reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel your account has been compromised), please immediately notify us using the contact information below.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. This means, for example, that we will keep your account information and content for as long as you maintain an account with us. If you delete your account (or we delete it due to prolonged inactivity or violation of our terms), we will initiate the process of removing your personal data from our systems. In general, once your account is deleted, we will either delete the information or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you.
Please note that there are instances where we may retain data for certain periods even after account deletion or a request for erasure:
- We may keep some of your personal information as necessary to comply with legal obligations (for example, records of transactions may be retained for accounting/tax purposes or fraud prevention).
- We may retain data as required to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. For instance, if we deactivate an account for violating our Terms, we might retain certain information to prevent that user from circumventing rules or to assist law enforcement.
- Copies of your content may remain in backup storage for a short time (though they will not be accessible to others). Our backups are securely stored and only accessed if needed for disaster recovery. These are typically purged on a rolling schedule.
Currently, Framable does not enforce a fixed data retention schedule for user-uploaded content. Content you create and do not delete may remain on our servers until you remove it or until it’s no longer needed for providing the service. You are free to delete your designs or images at any time, and doing so will remove them from the active database. If you have concerns about any specific data retention, please contact us. We will periodically review the data we hold and delete or anonymize information that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
8. International Data Transfers
Framable is operated by Demora AI, a company based in the United Kingdom. As part of providing our services, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, where our servers and some service providers are located. These countries may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction (such as the UK or the European Economic Area).
We implement appropriate safeguards to ensure that any international transfers of your personal data comply with applicable data protection laws. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA to a country not deemed to provide adequate protection (such as the US), we rely on mechanisms such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or other legally permitted safeguards.
By using Framable or providing us with personal information, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally as described above. We are committed to protecting your privacy and upholding your data rights under UK and EU law, including ensuring you have access to effective legal remedies if needed.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding international data transfers, you may contact us using the details provided in the “Contact Us” section below.
9. Children's Privacy
Framable is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not target our services to children, and some content generated by users or AI may not be appropriate for young audiences. If you are under 13, please do not register for an account or submit any personal information to us.
Parents or guardians: If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that data from our records.
For minors aged 13 to 18: We recommend that minors 13 or older use Framable only with parental consent and supervision, especially given the AI-generated content could occasionally be inappropriate. By using our service, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country) and, if under 18, that you have permission from your parent or guardian to use the platform. We encourage parents to educate their children about online safety and to monitor their children's use of internet services.
(Note: We do not have specific measures in place to verify users' ages or to otherwise comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), since our service is not directed at children under 13. We rely on the above policy of not knowingly collecting data from children and promptly removing any such data if found.)
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of the policy. If changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as by posting a notice on our website or emailing you, if appropriate). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
Your continued use of Framable after any update to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the changes and agreement to be bound by the updated policy. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you should stop using the platform and may request that we delete your account and data.
